Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to this winter wonderland that sets the stage for our grand finale show of 2022, "Winter Miracle".
This is a special show brought to you, during this time of the season, by a unique and warm collaboration between two model agencies; UNITY FASHION Agency and VM Productions.
A few words about the agencies:
VM Productions was founded by Vickie A. Maidstone (vickie.maidstone) in September 2019 and has been a driving force in the fashion modeling industry. VM Productions has done shows for the virtual Burning Man community and has since the beginning of 2022 gone on to the professional level of fashion modeling with great success. She defines her agency as “an UNconventional Fashion Model Agency unlike any other!” because, in her agency, FUN for and INDIVIDUALITY of the model is highly important!
UNITY FASHION Agency has been founded by Viktor Savior in 2020. It is an agency that embraces both fashion and art in its own philosophy and ideas. Unity is giving the chance to all models to be expressed freely letting out their inner artistic side to shine brightly, with the help of experienced mentors and teachers.

"Winter Miracles" starts with the "Traditions around the World" walk.
During this walk, each model has chosen to represent a country and create a style that is from the culture of this country. We are going to see some fun, fascinating, and heartwarming things together.
However, the first tradition we will introduce you is brought by our voice host. It is a well known one particular in the northern hemisphere of the world; the common cold and the occasional flu. And as such we ask that you forgive our voice host for the rusty voice or cough.

In her first style, she introduces us to the Christ Child, a symbol that most probably everyone knows.
The word ‘Christ Child’ usually refers to a symbolic figure of the Christmas festival who, according to tradition, brings the children Christmas presents without being seen. Originally a Protestant tradition, the idea of the Christ Child is now prevalent in Catholic areas, particularly in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, southern Brazil, and many other countries. The Christ Child is often depicted as a blond, curly-haired child with wings and a halo.

Emeline says ‘Joyeux Noël’, greeting us with a Christmas wish in the beautiful French language!
France's ‘Le Père Noël’ or his saintly name Saint Nicholas, visits France twice in December. France has had a law since 1962; any letter to Santa must be responded to in the form of a postcard, ensuring that each child receives a reply from Santa. Gifts are typically exchanged on Christmas Eve instead.
‘Le réveillon’ of various games and nuts followed by bûche de Noël, Pompe à l’huile and fine wine, is a night-time celebration and feast traditionally on Christmas Eve after attending midnight mass at church and ending it with the ‘Les Treize’ dessert which represents Jesus Christ and the 12 apostles.
The French style is all about looking chic and 'décontracté' at the same time, combining fine fabrics with symbolic accents that complete their signature and classic look.
Emeline chose to carry the ‘Silver Mountains’ handbag from ~TARA~ to bring the French style together.

Josie will tell us how Christmas is celebrated in India and explains to us the surprising story of the lemon.
Josie says: In India, we call it "Bada din" which means "the great day". Only about 2.3 percent of India's total population are Christians. But that equals 28 million people! Therefore, Christmas is an official holiday in India." Instead of a fir tree, we decorate a mango or banana tree. On the outside of the house, they hang colorful fairy lights.
On December 24th, Christmas is heralded with a midnight mass. The whole family sits together for dinner outdoors at a large table on Christmas Day. This is possible because India is warm all year round. The food is mostly curry rice dishes, vegetables, and meat dishes. In the evening we make a big campfire.
My grandma gives my grandpa a lemon every year. In India, the lemon is given to the head of the family as a sign of reverence.

Zafirah went above and beyond, transforming herself into a very famous and funny character in Italy: La Befana.
Originally the Befana is an old symbol of the year just passed, celebrated on January 6th known as the feast of the Epiphany. In the Christian tradition, the story of the Befana is closely linked to that of the Three Kings. Legend has it that Belshazzar, Gasparre, and Melchior were unable to find the way to Bethlemen and asked an old woman who showed them the way.
The Three Kings invited the woman to join them but she refused. Later she regretted not having followed them and then prepared a sack full of sweets and began to look for the Baby Jesus by knocking on every door and giving the children sweets.

Christmas is MinYi’s favorite time of year! But the following story might be very surprising...
Last year she spent it in Japan. Christmas? Japan? You may be wondering why she's being followed by two chickens then. Well, Herbert and Dumpling will be glad to tell you why!
While visiting her friends in Tokyo, they told her they were going to go to the hottest spot for dinner. MinYi had no idea she would be forced to stand in the snow for almost two hours for KFC! Turns out those Santa statues she saw were not Santa at all, but Colonel Sanders.
Since the 1970s, Japan has had a tradition of eating KFC or fried chicken during the holiday thanks to Mr. Okawara, who started the tradition of "Kentucky for Christmas!". Many people place orders weeks in advance and places sell out every year. While she's unsure where Herbert went, MinYi enjoyed learning and experiencing a different holiday tradition in Japan!

Girasol shows us a pilgrim that, along with others, is singing outside a house to ask for shelter at the first of 9 ‘Christmas Posadas’ celebrated in Mexico from December 16th to 24th.
This is a very old tradition that recreates the moment Virgin Mary and St. Joseph were knocking on doors to ask for a place to rest. Pilgrims outside sing as Mary and Joseph and people inside the house answer, singing as the owners. After some time, the doors are finally open to welcome the pilgrims and the celebration starts with traditional food and drinks.
At each Posada party, there is always a "Piñata" filled with fruit and candies that also has a spiritual meaning. It is to overcome sin to receive blessings. May you all have happy holidays full of joy and love!

Angelinka represents the ‘Snegurochka’ (Snow Maiden), a Russian fairy-tale and New Year's character, a constant companion and helper of Ded Moroz.
In Russian folklore, the Snegurochka is a character in a folk tale about a girl made of snow. In a fairy tale, an old man and an old woman fashioned a doll out of snow and it came to life. In the summer, her girlfriends took her to the forest for berries and mushrooms and started jumping over a large and hot fire.
The Snegurochka did not dare to fall behind her friends, jumped - and melted like snow melts under the sun. Every year it is born from the purest snow. The Snegurochka refers to the cloudy creatures that cover the spring sky after the ice and snow melt. The Snegurochka is a frequent guest of Russian folk tales, full of mystery and cool charm.

Lilian explains to us the tradition of Mari Lwyd which was performed at Christmas time by groups of men who would accompany the horse on its travels around the local area.
Although the makeup of such groups varied, they typically included an individual to carry the horse, a leader, and individuals dressed as stock characters such as Punch and Judy. The men would carry the Mari Lwyd to local houses, where they would request entry through song.
The householders would be expected to deny them entry, again through song, and the two sides would continue their responses to one another in this manner. If the householders eventually relented, the team would be permitted entry and given food and drink.

Vivien shows us the legendary Venezuelan flower grower “Pacheco” from Galipán, who is associated with the December intense cold known in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, and other parts of the world.
"Pacheco" lived in the 19th century, taking as a reference the Caracas City Council, which in 1809 designated the Plaza de San Jacinto as a "Market for flowers, fruits, and sweets".
He did not like Caracas very much but loved his mountain. He only went down to the city in November, when the cold grew stronger in the mountains he loved since in this way he knew that Caracas would also become cooler and more pleasant.
He was a very loved character in his time and the legend tells that the spirit of the Wuaraira Repano gave him the task of bringing the cold of November announcing Christmas, so when you feel that it starts to get cold you can say: Pacheco arrived.

Jascha portrays 'The Lady of the Lake', who may have been a Celtic goddess related to the Gwagged Annwn, the lake ferries in Welsh folklore.
The Lady of the Lake is a story known to take place in the winter as can be seen by the heavy snowstorm that accompanies Jascha as the goddess 'Nimue', also known by many other names.
She has been said to have raised Lancelot and was the mother of the Celtic god Mabon. She also ensnared Merlin's affections and held him captive. ensnared Merlin's affections. This wintery goddess even gifted Arthur the legendary sword Excalibur!
It is well known that she spirited Arthur away to Avalon after his mortal wounding during his defeat of Mordred. Whatever legend of Arthur and Camelot you may hear, ‘The Lady of the lake’ features heavily!

Kitty is the Christmas elf in her story helping Santa Claus give out toys to kids.
She checks Santa's list to see who has been naughty or nice. Elves are believed to have the strongest magic given to them by Santa Claus. They’re believed to make toys for kids all over the world and to take care of Santa’s reindeer.
Today there's the " Elf on the Shelf " collectible in stores in the United States of America. This is collected to watch over the kids to see who's been naughty or nice and to watch over the kids so they will be good. The premise is that each night your elf flies to the North Pole to tell Santa Claus whether your children are Naughty or Nice. So you better watch out, you better not pout because Santa Claus is coming to town.

Growing up MinYi has always had a love for ballet (no she's not any good at it). Since she was a child her parents had taken her to watch "The Nutcracker" every Christmas season. Each year she would get a doll from the classic ballet. She would get the Sugarplum Fairies, multiple Claras, and even the Mouse King. However, the only one she never got was the title character himself, The Nutcracker.
While her family does not celebrate Christmas in its religious sense, her parents always enjoyed the holiday and passed that down to her. Winter is often shown as cold, dark, and lonely. However, to MinYi it has always been the most exciting time filled with warmth and happiness that her family has given her and she wishes to spread that kind of love to others, not just during the holidays but every day.
Minyi brings her message to life using the poses from Poses With Attitude.

Hyaecinte has regressed and is now a three-year-old little Hya.
Children have been an integral part of Christmas. After all, Jesus was a newborn baby. Children's choirs sing their songs. And of course, the magical time of family and... Presents!
Children represent pure good to me. They are innocent, curious about the world around them, and still have that sense of wonder that we as adults tend to lose at a later age thanks to a rather harsh reality.
So this is what I wish for everyone; to find the child inside yourself again. Look at the world through the eyes of a child; with love and wonder and excitement. See the person next to you as someone to enjoy life with, not by the color of their skin or how rich they are. Love each other, and love the world around you. Only love.

Jascha opens her heart to us: ‘When I was a child I wanted so much to be a dragon and chase away everyone who hurt me. I wanted it so much that I didn't want anything else for Christmas.
Later I realized that it is not possible to be a dragon, so as a teenager and young adult I wished for at least to get one to protect me - and wished that every year anew.
One day a therapist told me that you can choose an imaginary being for protection, that you can call out in your spirit, and from which you can draw strength and support. Of course, mine was a dragon!
And when I got to know SL and saw the many dragons here I was happy... finally I could be a dragon and own as many ones as I want and need.’
Jascha only uses poses from Pink Moon because she feels they tell her story perfectly!
When Jascha and Hya came together for their style checks and read each other's stories, something special happened. They felt a connection. Jascha, the little child who wanted to become a dragon to protect herself from the world, and Hya, the little child represents the sense of wonder we sometimes lose to a rather harsh reality.
Jascha and Hya both dream of a better world, a safer world, and a loving world for the little children. It was then they chose to hug and at that moment both shed a tear RL, feeling this wish more intense than ever. This is what we BOTH wish for you, a beautiful loving world for the most innocent of them all, our little children.
